Sarah Jenkins and Celebrating Women in Business
Hi! My name is Sarah Jenkins and I live in Bridgend, South Wales with my husband, daughter and our 2 cats.
I am a huge Disney fan and love to explore castles, both the historical and theme park type.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and being creative, including painting, drawing and junk journaling.
I am a huge supporter of creating spaces for women to succeed, which I currently do through my women in business networking events and as a girl guide volunteer.
My background is in retail merchandising and I have a masters degree in Marketing from the University of Glamorgan.
Where it all started.
2020 was a difficult year for us all. There was a lot of uncertainty, anxiety and sadness. Not being able to see friends and family was difficult for us all.
Unfortunately during this time, my mother had a cancer diagnosis and sadly passed away in the November that year.
During this time, like a lot of people I started a business and joined a number of networking groups to get my business out there.
We laughed together, we cried together and we supported each other with both our businesses and our personal lives. I had never a group of such amazing women.
I can honestly say these women helped me to get through lockdown, with their support, kindness and wise words.
